Starting a new PhD or PostDoc position brings both opportunities and challenges – especially in the complex environment of a university. As part of the Welcome Day, which take place twice a year, we invite all new doctoral researchers, postdocs and research assistants and support them in getting started in their diverse activities at the university with information, exchange and networking opportunities.

The Welcome Day offers the opportunity to get in touch with other researchers at HHU, as well as to get to know program offers and the contact persons of the Heine Research Academies (HeRA). HeRA want to advance your career and training as an early career researcher also by providing a collection of useful information and links to contact points. The graduate academies are open to doctoral students, postdocs and junior research group leaders as well as to supervisors of graduate research work at HHU.

The  event will be held in English and will take place as a get-together with snacks and drinks.
